Evelyn Nancy (Crawford) Ball

BALL, EVELYN NANCY (CRAWFORD), 80, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012 at Essex Nursing & Rehab Center.

She retired from JCPS worked for Walmart and was a member of Ashby Lane Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Ball; brothers, Estill, Chester, Lindsay and Scott Crawford; sisters, Martha and Helena Rasior and Claira Moore; and stepson, Richard Ball.

She is survived by her son, Robert "Bobby" Ball (Linda); daughter, Arlynne "Lynne" Bennett (Doug); brother, Lawrence Crawford (Mildred); sister, Mary Belle Devine; six grandchildren, Wendy Barker (Tommy), Sheri Herbig, Ryan Ball ( Samantha ), Michael Bennett, Corey Bennett and William Bennett; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Her funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation noon-8 p.m. on Thursday after 11 a.m. on Friday.
