Obituary for Mary Ann England
ENGLAND, MARY ANN (GIBSON), 77, passed away Friday May 23,2014 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was a retired secretary for the Dept of Probation and Parole and a member of Life Church Louisville. She is preceded in death by her parents, Catherine and Elbert "Hoot" Gibson; and grandson, Kenneth England. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Mickey (Paul), Karen Lowe (Harlen), Kim England Melton and Krista Cox. Sister Betty Gray; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Mom your smile, tender ways and your pure joy of life wanting to make sure we are all together and close has taught us so much about life !! We owe everything to you and love and cherish not only who you are, but all you have taught us to be. Our love for you is deep and endless and we just want to thank you for being our mom. Her funeral will be 1p.m. Tuesday May 27, 2014 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. on Tuesday. No visitation on Monday,.
