Condolence: I'm so sorry for your loss. I'd like to share some real hope with you. In John 5:28 and Acts 24:15 the bible promises a resurrection of our loved ones back to the earth. When Jesus resurrected Lazarus from the dead, he brought him back to earth. He's going to do that on a much larger scale in the future. In Psalms 37:11+29 it tells us man will live forever on the earth in peace. That was God's original purpose, for man to live forever in the garden of eden. God's purpose hasn't changed. That's why he provided his son to die for us, John 3:16, so we could have everlasting life. In Revelation 21:3+4 it tells us there'll be no more pain or death. Is there pain and death in heaven? Of course not. That's talking about conditions on the earth in the future. Please go to our web site JW.org. Click on to the publication "What does the Bible really teach". It will answer questions from the bible on the condition of the dead and the hope they have.
