Obituary for Bennett Dawson Dunn Sr.
Bennett Dawson Dunn, Sr., 94, husband to the late Alice Dunn, passed away at his daughter Diane’s home in W. Melbourne, Florida, on Friday April 20, 2018. He was born to the late Alva and Stella (Jones) Dunn in Morgantown, Kentucky on December 1, 1923.
He retired from General Electric, as a maintenance man, after many years.
He is survived by his children, Bennett D. Dunn, Jr. (Cheryl), Esther Durrett (Doug), Elizabeth Brown (Tim), and Diane Kessinger (Tony) along with 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 1:00 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 am until time of service.
