Herman Luke "Junior" Gibson Jr.
Herman Luke "Junior" Gibson, Jr., 77, husband to Elsie "Carole" (Hardin) Gibson, passed away on Tuesday May 22, 2018 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. He was born to the late Herman and Anna (Wooden) Gibson in Upton, KY on December 19, 1940. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Alton L. and Vernon G. Gibson.
Herman retired as terminal operator from Chevron and was member of the Shawnee Masonic Lodge # 830 and a Kosair Shriner.
Besides his wife of 57 years, he is survived by his children, Richard “Rick” Gibson (Donna), Roger Gibson, Ronda Burrows (Billy) and Randy Gibson (Lisa) along with grandchildren, Joshua, Andrea, Ryan, April, Courtney, Jacob, Jason, Sarah, and five great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by a brother, Scotty Blanton, sisters, Karen Hammond, Sheila Blanton and several nieces and nephews.
