Obituary for William Francis Settles Jr.

William F Settles, Jr. 83, died July 12, 2018.

Born July 23, 1934 in Marion Co. KY, he was known to family and friends as Bill, Junior or Bigfoot. He was preceded in death by wife, Jean Settles; son, Greg Settles and granddaughter, Kristin Settles.

Mr. Settles is survived by Terry (Darlene) Settles, Barbara (Duane) Waddell, Libby (Rusty) Mattingly, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Monday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway from 2-7 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at St. Lawrence Church in Shively, KY.

Attendees are encouraged to wear long-sleeved flannel shirts in tribute to his signature attire.
