Obituary for Joel N. Wilson Sr.
Joel N. Wilson, Sr., 78, husband to Leslie (Zoeller) Wilson, passed away Sunday December 10, 2017 at Jewish Southwest. He was born to the late Curtis and Agnes (Young) Wilson in Bowling Green on January 25, 1939. He is also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Loren Wilson.
Joel worked a transport loader for Transport Services, a member of Local 89 , and he owned and trained thoroughbred horses.
Beside his wife he is survived by children, Joel N. Wilson, Jr. ,Michele Wilson, granddaughter Lillian Wilson and sister Wanda Gordon.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 6:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested, in memory of Loren Wilson, to Kosair Charities, 928 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, KY 40217. (1-502-637-7696)
