Obituary for Thelma R. Kessinger (Roberts)

Thelma R. Kessinger, 105, wife to the late Hillard Kessinger, passed away Friday January 12, 2018 at home. She was born to the late Millard and Anna (Gilmore) Roberts in Davis County, KY on November 16, 1912. She is, also, preceded in death by 13 brothers and sisters and her primary caretaker, Rita Wesley.
Thelma was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church, was a member of the Oasis Group at her church, and, a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Howard (Boots), grandson, Jared Howard, nephew, Paul Wesley along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 pm until time of service.
